23 Aug 08 - donated $20 to Room to Read, an organization that provides quality educational opportunities by establishing libraries, creating local language children's literature, constructing schools, providing education to girls and establishing computer labs. The contribution that Papa, Maman and oO made will make a world of difference for children in the developing world, including Laos.

21 Aug 08 - helped a friend of my friend to move his stuff to his dorm (he's a freshman, just arrived to start first year at the university).

18 Aug 08 - helped the staff at the office move some student's stuff to a new office.

17 Aug 08 - made 2220 grains of rice donation at www.freerice.com through the UN World Food Program to help feed hungers. Also emailed the link to friends and family. Made another 10,000 grains of rice donation in the afternoon on the same day:

16 Aug 08 - spent Saturday helping a classmate move to new apartment (a lot of stuff to move).

13 Aug 08 - helped a friend (Gui) with cleaning and moving out from the old apartment. And let one of the friend's friends who's just arrive to stay with us for a while. He needs a place to stay while looking for a place to stay.

08/08/08 - Bought UNICEF gifts (a silver bracelet engraved with the UNICEF logo, and Animal block puzzle for oO to play with) worth a total of $50.50 incl. shipping, to support UNICEF help save children around the world.


As LeO learns how to blow a candle for a cake BD, oO invents a way to easily blow a candle by using a straw :)
